Well we have finally made progress on these projects. ;-) Zach put the spindles up yesterday and I am very pleased with how they look. I'm excited to get the rest of the stair project complete and I have been told that it will get done this summer. ;-) Derby is not as excited about the spindles because he no longer has a short cut to get down the stairs. It's much safer now though. Zach realized on Sunday night when we had several little kiddos at the house that it would probably be best to have these spindles in place rather than sitting in the office collecting dust.
Here's the covering of the little sewing chair. I'm excited about it. I would like to cover the sides as well, but I am okay with just the top for now. The sides will definitely not be as easy.
Non project news, Zach and I went to our first Rangers' game of the season last Tuesday. It was a celebration of the end of the semester for Zach. 12 more hours done... and a passing grade in Art History. That's a definite plus. They won against the Angels. It's always fun to go to the game when they win. So back to the school story... Zach is on track still to graduate in December barring one minor detail. An internship for the summer. The internship with Tracy Locke didn't pan out... now we are waiting to hear from one that he had an interview with last week. We should know something by the end of this week or at the latest Tuesday. The earlier the better in my opinion. Praying hard that this one will work out because it would be a huge blessing!
So here's to the beginning of our summer....
